Colt "Sheriff's" model, serial #84750 matching, 1891 manufacture. Very good 3.5" rifled bore. Metal overall is a dove-tail grey, with approximately .30% original blue still remaining in protected areas, the barrel retains blueish hues. Top of barrel Colt markings are very clear, in addition to left side of barrel "COLT. D.A. 38". Left side of frame with clear 3-line patent dates. Mechanics are very good in both DA & SA. The grips show moderate age handling wear.
These "Sheriff" model Colt's have always been highly collectible.
