Colt Model 1860 Army percussion revolver in very fine+ condition overall. U.S. government issue, sub inspector's initials overall on metal components. Serial #106434 matching, including wedge, 1863 manufacture. This gun is only 438 serial #'s away from my other fine Colt Army listing, see item #FR478, serial #106872. Overall deep blue, mixing with light age brown patina with fading rainbow hues of case colors on frame. Original blue in protected areas, rebate of cylinder and thinning on gripstrap. Cylinder scene rates a strong .95%+, overall, untouched. The .44 cal bore is bright with crisp rifling. All markings are crisp. Mechanics are tight. Original 2-piece wood grips have smooth age-handling look, two strong cartouches. Colt's patent marking on left side of frame. Untouched brass triggerguard, cut for shoulder stock. A classic U.S. Civil War sidearm. Far above average as any Civil War era Colt Army revolver with finish are getting harder and harder to obtain.
