Scarce 2nd model Colt derringer (1870-1890). Serial #4635 matching, .41 rimfire caliber. Very crisp Colt barrel markings. Metal overall is a pleasing age grey, frame engraving of the left a little worn from handling, in addition to some light surface pitting.. Mechanics are very good and well as barrel release button, very slight play in barrel. 2-piece checkered walnut grips show traces of original varnish and exhibiting very good checkering. Bore has rifling, just needs a good cleaning.
