Fine original WWI Remington Mark III flare gun, 10 gauge. These were manufactured between 1915 - 1918. Serial #9-771 matching. In very fine condition+ overall with the original factory blue finish mixing with age patina. Featuring a 9" blued steel tip-up barrel with an untouched golden brass frame. The Remington barrel markings are crisp, with a fine smooth bore that needs a scrubbing. The mechanics are tight, working on both positions, tight lock up. The wooden grips are fine with slight wear from handling.
