Rare Revolutionary War American black leather cartridge box. 4 1/4" X 9.5" waist belt cartridge box. Very good+ condition overall for its age, .100% original, the leather is sturdy and supple, exhibits surface crazing and loss. Complete with the original 25 wooden hole cartridge block that holds .69 caliber cartridges. One belt loop on the back appears to be an old replacement, very well done. The original tin closure tab is present along with front seashell-style button.
