WWII US AIR Corps sterling silver locket ring. Face of the ring bears the United States Air Corps insignia of wing and prop. Both sides have a boldly spread US eagle over a shield. High relief and good detail. The top piece with the insignia is actually a hinged lid, which opens to expose a compartment for a keepsake. The band is stamped on the inside "STERLING" & "PATENTED". Appears to be a large size. Rarely encountered and unique.
