Confederate D-guard Bowie knife. Southern Blacksmith crafted classic D-guard knife, 17 3/4" in total length. Still has the original hardwood handle exhibiting age. This is a classic CS piece. The steel blade still shows evidence of being hand-forged and filing marks. A few trivial nicks are present on the sharpened blade. Some areas of age surface pitting present. Unusual double-ribbed guard. Great looking D-guard.
