THE BACK IS BLACK, THE LINING IS WHITE SILK, IT HAS 2 LOWER POCKETS, AND ONE WATCH POCKET AT BIT HIGHER UP ON THE LEFT. THE BUTTONS ARE VERY FINE QUALITY AND MARKED "J. V. ALLIEN & CO. NY AND LONDON". THE BACK BUCKLE IS MARKED "PATTERSON", AND ONE OF THE BACK STRAPS HAS A JOHN PATTERSON & CO. NY LABEL WITH THE OFFICER'S NAME FILLED IN: "LT. G. H. NORMAN". I LOCATED HIM AS BEING: GEORGE H. NORMAN, JR., LIEUTENANT, JUNIOR GRADE (SPANISH-AMERICAN WAR), 14 MAY, 1898, HONORABLY DISCHARGED 1 OCTOBER, 1898. PAPERWORK INCLUDED.
